5 Etoiles!! 5 Stars! My husband and I stopped in North Hatley while out on an afternoon drive. We saw this charming baked goods place and walked toward it. We hadn't realized that it was closing time...We were graciously welcomed in by the owner. What a treat! Our eyes quickly scanned all that was available, so as not to delay the owner's departure at closing time. Each cake, cookie, baked good looked like it was one of a kind and freshly made moments ago.We ordered some cookies and cupcakes. Off we went, pleased with the patience of the shop owner and our purchases. Later that evening we tasted our treats...Outstanding freshness and flavours, each bite was so delicious! Amazing lil cafe. Super friendly staff, and they have quite the variety of food from cafe food and desserts. The price is reasonable given the quality of the food.Overall, great experience!
Wish we had found this the first day we arrived. The sign outside doesn't do a good job of telling you its a bakery/pastry shop. The food was great both for treats and getting a quick picnic lunch.
Anything that includes chocolate that they make in this cute little bakery/caf will taste amazing when you get it!! Good for getting their flourless ganache cakes if you need them in an instant for your special occasions.I recommend you get pastries there early in the morning because that's when they're all at their most fresh. I have never had such soft and moist cinnamon buns from anywhere else before!
